I know youā€™ve heard me say this before, but itā€™s worth repeatingā€¦

Rest isnā€™t a luxury, itā€™s a requirement.

Not just to avoid burnout, but because your best ideas rarely come from an exhausted mind.

Hustle culture has taught us to praise productivity, but as someone who has been called a workaholic, sometimes the most productive thing you can do is take a break.

A rested mind sees possibilities an exhausted one overlooks.

The time this weekend to relax and reset.

He paid $600,000 for a house worth $450,000. On purpose.

Because he owned the 25 feet next to it, and married up, that turned two lots into three. He shopped them at $900,000, took $850,000, and cleared $250,000.

Most builders would have centered this house on the lot. He pushed it 5 feet to the property line instead.

Five years later he rolled the parcel back to the old lot lines and created a third lot that did not exist before.

He wasnā€™t building a house. He was building an option.

Congratulations to my brother and now officially my future sister-in-law. Although, if Iā€™m honest, sheā€™s felt like a sister long before the ring.

Watching the two of you has always been so special. The way you love, respect, and genuinely care for each other is inspiring, and I couldnā€™t be happier for you both. I also feel so lucky to have her wonderful family becoming part of ours.

So many people claim to have a focus problem, but I think the real issue is a commitment problem.

Every new idea looks good when nothing is sacred.

Pick the one thing. Go all in. Everything else then becomes a no by default.

Your life can look entirely different in 6 months from now.

Choose, put your head down, and go make it happen. šŸ’Æ

Flipping is riskier than development. I said what I said.

When you flip, youā€™re trying to improve an existing floor plan. This is not the market to do flips! The margins are gone and youā€™re competing with new construction.

With development, you create from a blank canvas. You transform properties to the highest and best use helping communities. Thatā€™s why you get paid the big bucks for your vision.

Youā€™re way more competitive building new than competing against every other flipper fighting over the same tired inventory.

Learning zoning, entitlements and everything about land is what builds a skillset that will set you apart, and bring you control over your time and money.
