Dreaming of homeownership but not sure where to start?

I get that! Buying your first home can feel overwhelming but it doesn’t have to be. Working with an agent who gets it can make the process so much easier. 🫶🏻

Start by figuring out how much home you can afford. Either speak with a lender from the start or just take note of your income and currently monthly expenses to get an estimate.

Make a list of things you want and need in a home. This is also a good time to be thinking about areas you may want to live in, commute times, etc.

Work with a lender to determine how much you’ll need to save for a down payment (just fyi it doesn’t have to be 20%!) and closing costs. They can guide you through the process, make sure your credit in is order, and get you pre-approved so you’re ready to go.

Find a local Realtor who can help match you with homes that check all your boxes in the neighborhoods that fit your needs. You’ll spend time with your Realtor looking at houses so make sure they’re a good match for you!

Itchin’ for a new kitchen? I feel ya, especially this time of year! There’s nothing like entertaining and having people over for all the summer festivities to make you realize all the little things you’d like to change about your home. 🏡

I’m constantly switching up decor and trying to rearrange things but I always end up in the kitchen. Here are a few easy ways to refresh your kitchen:

• Change the hardware or update your fixtures.
• Add plants, real or faux plants will do the trick.
• Add in some pops of color whether it’s some fun table decor or even an accent wall.
• Get new towels or maybe new napkins and placemats for your table.
