As a part of the school community, I learned much about the curriculum, enjoyed active participation and now support the schools. Representing my precinct at Town Meeting for more than 25 years kept me informed and involved in the operations of the town. The Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital plays an important role in this community as both a much needed provider of health care and a large employer.

I was honored to serve on the Board of Directors for 9 years. To sell the town, a knowledge of it's history is helpful. In 2011, the Needham 300 committee spent the year telling the historic story and extolling the bright future of Needham. Serving on the Board of Directors at the historical society was a great opportunity to be a part of the retrospective and prospective elements of Needham's tercenntenial celebration. This area has been my home throughout my life. I've lived in Needham for many years and prior to moving here I lived in Boston, Brookline, Canton and Newton. I have also been involved in other metro west communities. I've been a Realtor for 16 years and have been in the top tier of agents in my company for most of them. I take the time to listen to my clients and assess their wants and needs. I work hard to guide them through the process and make it a positive experience.

We often say a house is "one of a kind". In this case it's true; this house is the only one of its kind built in Needham. The home has been well loved and well maintained by the current owners, they have made wonderful memories here and hope the next owner will, too.

April 17 - Teach A Class _ Do you have a skill you could teach, like painting, writing, knitting or helping people learn Yoga or make a monthly budget? Reach out to a local community or senior center and ask about hosting a class.

April 18 - CPR Training _ The opportunity to save a life is the ultimate act of community service. Take a class and recertify every year

Today, April 19 - Donate hair - Give those flowing locks to an organization that can put them to good use. Pair up with a friend or family member for twice the fun. Be sure to review length requirements before heading to the salon.
