Tuesday Tip: Getting pre-approved isn’t just about knowing the maximum price you can spend—it helps you understand what a comfortable monthly payment looks like, what loan options may fit, and whether there are any financial items worth cleaning up before you start shopping.

Even if buying a home is still 6–12 months away, talking with a lender early can give you time to prepare instead of scrambling once the right house comes along.

And remember: a pre-approval doesn’t mean you have to buy at the top of your budget. The goal is to know your options and make a smart decision for your household.
