NWMS REALTORS® leadership recently joined REALTORS® from across the country in Washington, D.C. for the National Association of REALTORS® Legislative Meetings, ensuring that Mississippi homeowners, property owners, and communities have a voice at the national level.
Advocacy is one of the most important roles REALTORS® play. During the conference, our representatives met directly with Mississippi's U.S. Senators and Members of Congress to discuss the top legislative priorities impacting real estate, private property rights, housing affordability, and homeownership opportunities for families across our state.
These conversations are critical because decisions made in Washington have real impacts on Mississippi communities. By having REALTORS® at the table, we help ensure that lawmakers understand the challenges facing homebuyers, sellers, and property owners while advancing policies that support the American Dream of homeownership.
