We held our 2nd Annual special needs summer bash yesterday and had an absolute blast!

We would like to thank the Neshkoro Enhancement Committee for volunteering their time and dance moves to help ensure this event was fun and welcoming for everyone!

We also want to give a special shoutout to Jerry Kitterman for generously donating his time, sound equipment, and DJ talents for the second year in a row to keep the party rocking!

​And a big thank you as well to the The West Berlin Bun-ker for supplying delicious sweet treats for everyone to enjoy!

Wow. That was quite the storm that rolled through Neshkoro today. Thankfully we didn’t see a tornado touch down, but it definitely left its mark.

​We’re so grateful we could offer shelter to the people who stopped by—from the young couple heading home to Wautoma, to the neighbors parked out back under the drive-thru canopy to avoid the hail.

​Our logo is a lighthouse for a reason: a big part of our mission is to be a beacon of support and guidance in the midst of a storm, whatever that storm may be. Today was a great reminder of why that matters so much to us.

​Just a reminder: if severe weather ever catches you while passing by on Highway 73, or if you don't have a basement at home and need a safe place to wait things out, our doors are open whenever we’re here.
