Survey Party Chief
We are looking for a Land Survey Party Chief to join our land surveying department in or around Nevada, TX who is interested in field work related to the ex*****on and quality control of surveying field projects including but not limited to:
Boundary and ALTA surveys, building and construction layout, Environmental surveys and topographic surveys and field activities.
Position will include field work, serving client facilities throughout the State of Texas. This position will take direction from and work beneath senior level staff. The ideal person seeks a place to grow and improve skills, and a collaborative environment that is conducive to the development of personal skills. Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities are the ex*****on of survey field tasks assigned, and will include, but not be limited to, management and implementation of Land Surveying field activities.
Other duties and responsibilities to include:
Ex*****on and quality control of surveying field projects including but not limited to:
Boundary and ALTA surveys
Building and construction layout
Environmental surveys
Topographies
Supervision, mentoring and coaching of other technical junior support staff in implementation of above project types
Client communications and firm representation in the field.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified crew chief.
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Familiarity with Topcon Survey equipment a plus.
Flexible schedule for overtime when needed.
