Hi All! You may have noticed that my page has been silent for sometime. I have had some big changes in my personal life lately and took some time away.

I have decided to take 2023 off from real estate. I will be welcoming my first baby and plan to spend as much time with the baby as possible.

Our listing inventory is at 28.8% with our closest competitor at 10.7% of the market share. You may have heard the phrases "Buyer's Market" and "Sellers Market" being tossed around a lot lately. I wanted to help explain what those mean exactly in case you aren't familiar. ☺️💡

🔵 A buyers’ market is when there are more homes for sale than buyers looking to buy. When that happens, buyers have the negotiation power because sellers are more willing to compromise so they can sell their house.
🟡 In a sellers’ market, it’s just the opposite. There are too few homes available for the number of buyers in the market and that gives the seller all the leverage. In that situation, buyers will do what they can to compete for the limited number of homes for sale.

Don't hesitate to ask any questions ❓ you may have about the difference and where the market is right now. As the graphs shows, according to the National Association of Realtors, in August 2022 we are still in a Seller's Market.
