Another great Friday at the 34th Annual Cruisin the Dam in Carlyle. We are thankful to be a part of this event again this year as one of the Silver sponsors. Our 9th and final post of this event will be of some drone pictures of some of the people that wanted to get a picture with the drone as we were walking around. It felt like we did way more than these. Next year we plan on making this a bigger part as well. Hope you all enjoyed these photos as much as we enjoyed taking them. If you have never been before, it's something to put on your to do list. The have a group page Cruisin The Dam. It has 526 members on it as we are typing this post. 8th post will be of night time cruise back over the spillway. The thought was to get another individual photo of each vehicle. Some drivers decided they needed to step on a throttle a little extra after crossing. So the focus seemed to switch to the next car in line instead. So it's a working progress on these night time phots yet. They still gave us some great shots at this unique part of the event.

5th post will be one of the fan favorites again this year. It is the eyes in the sky views. While they may look like toys in the photos from this height. These photos give a great perspective on just how big this show really is. The number of cars looked a bit down from years past. At least from these views. The heat was surely to blame for those stats. But walking around the event you sure wouldn't have guessed that to be the case. Every row was packed full of participants and lookers with those same jaw dropping and smiling facial expressions. Fun times had by all once again this year!

4th post will be of the spillway/dam just because why not while we are there. There are day and night pictures for your enjoyment. The Carlyle Lake, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers gave us guidelines on where we could and could not fly. Since this is a Federally regulated zone. Thank you for all you do for this event. Keeping everything in check can be a hassle at times. You wouldn't know it by their positive/helpful attitudes! What a great group of people they are to be around. We are lucky to have them!

3rd post will be from the the cruise when they crossed the dam. We decided that to make the cruise a little more personable, we took a picture of every vehicle as they crossed the actual dam. We believe this will be a new standard for all cruises going forward. If the people think these are a great new addition? The heat index at the time of this crossing on our weather app said 114 degrees. It sure felt like it! Shout out to the Carlyle Lake, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Thank you for all you do for this event and keeping the engines in check where they should be.
