A recent Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report looks at how rent is changing across Milwaukee. The median monthly rent is now $1,835, up 6.43%, while renters are also getting fewer square feet for the same amount of money.

In other words, what you can get for your monthly rent is changing. You may be paying more and getting less space than you would have a few years ago.
