If someone critiques another walk as trying to gain favor from God as an explanation of why they do what they do, what does that say about that person’s walk?

If a person says someone does something only to ‘get saved’, then why do they do what they do?

I have found through a coupe of decades of dealing with folks on a deeper level that usually a person tries to project their own insufficiencies onto others. Most times they don’t even know they are doing it. I am guilty as charged. But I have found a few thi gs that are true in this endeavor:

It’s not for us to judge another’s salvation; we are to be fruit inspectors. Start with your own harvest.

If someone questions your motives (especially online) they either know you like the back of their hand, or they don’t know you at all. Ask yourself a question before questioning others: do I know this person well enough to judge their intentions? (The answer is probably an overwhelming no)

Matthew 18 is the real deal when it comes to solving problems. Works every time. Most issues between people are miscommunication or gossip.

Both can be fixed rather in an efficient and swift manner.
