As a military spouse, she has lived in Georgia, South Carolina, and Japan, where she began her graduate studies. While in the South Carolina, she became a licensed realtor, continuing her passion for real estate after returning to North Carolina. Ashleigh, her husband of seventeen years, and their daughter share their home with three Labrador Retrievers—Stella, Bear, and Duke.
