Recently I worked for two different companies. Less than a year each. Both ended the same way.
At some point I had to ask myself, if I’m spending this much time and energy building something for someone else, and not getting results, then why am I not building it for myself?
So I did just that!
Koehler Home Services started with a simple idea: show up, do the work right, and actually explain to people what they’re paying for. No runaround. No upselling fear. Just honest work from someone who knows both ends of it. I can manage a project from the top down and still pick up a tool and do the job myself.
That combination is rarer than it should be in this industry.
We’re based in New Braunfels and we serve real people in our community. Homeowners, property managers, investors. People who deserve a straight answer and a fair price.
Grateful for every lesson, even the ones that came with an undeserved termination letter.

There’s something really satisfying about turning “it’s still in the box” into “let’s have everyone over.” 😄 Just finished this hardtop gazebo assembly for a neighbor and the backyard transformation speaks for itself.
