Most people moving to Texas don’t struggle with finding homes.
They struggle with choosing the right area.
On paper, everything can look similar:
– new builds
– similar price ranges
– decent schools
– growing areas
But the actual *feel* of where you live ends up being completely different.
What most people don’t realize is they’re usually deciding between 3 different lifestyles:
1. Close to the city
More convenience, shorter commutes, higher cost
2. Outside the city
More space, quieter, better value, but more driving
3. In between
Places like New Braunfels that sit between major areas and give a mix of both
There’s no perfect answer.
Just tradeoffs.
The mistake most people make is trying to figure this out by scrolling listings instead of understanding how these areas actually compare.
Once that clicks, everything else gets easier.
