From building our incredible Wildcat Stadium to now constructing our new Secondary Academic Building, their craftsmanship and commitment are woven into the very fabric of our campus. But beyond the buildings, they have helped build a legacy of faith, community, and opportunity for NBCA students.

For 142 years, Naegelin's Bakery has been a beloved New Braunfels institution! 🍞 Founded by Edouard Naegelin, Sr., who arrived in town in 1868 with nothing more than a sack of flour and less than a dollar in his pocket. From humble beginnings, he built a legacy of delicious baked goods that continue to make the town proud! 🥐✨

Born in Alsace-Lorraine in 1844, Edouard moved to the U.S. at just 2 years old. At 19, he served in the Civil War before opening a bakery in San Antonio. After an unsuccessful partnership, he relocated to New Braunfels, where his first bakery stood in the Goldebagen building. In 1870, he moved to the location we know today on South Seguin Avenue, purchasing the property in 1874. 🍰
