**Meet Kassi Jaroszewski: Your Not-So-Average Agent**

Hi, I’m Kassi Jaroszewski—no, you haven’t seen me on the cover of *Forbes*, a Netflix docuseries, or in any viral TikTok dance-offs (yet). I’m not chasing a million-dollar paycheck—I’m chasing excellence in everything I do, including helping you with one of the biggest decisions of your life: real estate. Born in Weslaco, Texas (home of palm

trees and really great tacos), I was raised in Central/South Texas and graduated from New Braunfels High School before earning my Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Development from Texas A&M. Fun fact: while studying abroad in Vietnam, I became an Agronomy whiz and learned a lot about life, war, and how not to fall off a motorbike. Since becoming a licensed Realtor in 2003, I’ve taken classes in everything from appraisals to negotiations, becoming a full-fledged Real Estate Broker in 2011. In 2015, I took a leap of faith and opened my own real estate company, and it’s been one of my proudest achievements (aside from keeping three boys alive and mostly well-fed). Speaking of those boys: I married my better half, Barry Jaroszewski Jr., in 2005. Together, we run a small ranchette outside of town where we train horses, host team roping events, and raise cattle, chickens, and our three boys—Barry III (aka Tripp, short for triple), Collier, and Ledger. They’re the 5th generation of Jaroszewski's to roam this land, and they’ve got the mud-stained boots to prove it. Everything I’ve accomplished is thanks to the love of my family and my Heavenly Father, who’ve taught me honesty, integrity, and the power of persistence. I truly believe the saying, “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”

A major honor has just put New Braunfels on the map in the hospitality world.

Sophie's Gasthaus has been added to the Michelin Guide's 2026 recommendations on places to stay, becoming the first hotel in New Braunfels to receive the distinction and one of only 70 hotel properties in Texas selected.

Located in a beautifully restored early-1900s mansion in downtown New Braunfels, the boutique hotel is known for its blend of historic German architecture, contemporary art, lush outdoor spaces, and personalized guest experience. Michelin inspectors evaluate hotels based on factors including design, service, comfort, value, and how well a property reflects the character of its destination.

For a city that has spent years building its reputation as a travel destination, this is a pretty significant milestone and a nice bit of national recognition for one of downtown's most unique properties.
