🎡 The Comal County Fair Parade is tomorrow! 🇺🇸

Get ready to line the streets of Downtown New Braunfels on Friday, September 25, 2026, for one of the biggest traditions of the Comal County Fair!

📣Parade starts: 9:00 AM
🐾 Pet Parade: 8:30 AM
📍 Route: South Seguin Avenue → Main Plaza → East San Antonio Street

🚧 Planning to drive downtown?
South Seguin Avenue, Main Plaza, East San Antonio Street, and surrounding streets will begin closing at 7:00 AM, with closures expected to remain until approximately 1:00 PM.

🪑 Bring a chair, find your spot, and enjoy the parade! If you're heading downtown Friday morning, plan your route ahead of time and allow extra time for closures.

🕰️ Throwback Thursday - New Braunfels History

Let’s take a look back at the history behind one of New Braunfels’ longest-running traditions: the Comal County Fair. 🎠

The first official Comal County Fair was held in 1894 at Landa’s Pasture, after the fair planned for the previous year was postponed due to drought. In those early days, the fair featured agricultural exhibits, horse racing and other community events.🎡

More than 130 years later, the tradition continues! This week, the Comal County Fair returns to E. Common Street with rodeo, livestock shows, carnival rides, live entertainment, food and more!
