South Bend Management is in search of a detail-oriented real estate office manager to oversee daily operations, supervise administrative staff, and ensure our business runs efficiently. You’ll be responsible for updating listings, building relationships with current and future tenants, and scheduling team meetings. You’ll also be in charge of the office budget and ordering supplies. The ideal candidate is a quick problem-solver, and a positive team player. This management position will work directly under the COO ( Chief Operation Officer ) and will develop the skills necessary for management and further professional growth. Work will consist of a very clear day to day workflow with the opportunity for exercising ingenuity and creativity to accomplish a variety of tasks that directly effect company productivity.
Office Manager Responsibilities:
1. Office management of schedule, calendar, email, etc to keep organization and order in the office.
2. Acquiring new tenants by processing information from our syndicated services, and keeping our vacancies low (a key part of the health of the company).
3. Building relationships with future tenants which goes hand in hand with maintaining a low vacancy rate.
4. Management of tenant relationships, a key to a long-term tenant.
5. Paying invoices, bills, and tracking expenses with the use of excel so that we have accurate tracking of expenses.
6. Organizing and contracting repairs for residential and commercial properties.
7. Project management with creative thinking to problem solve as well as develop more efficient protocols.
8. Website management.
9. Compiling and presenting a weekly report demonstrating an accurate summary of day to day operations.
Skills needed (Qualifications)
1. High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
2. Hard working.
3. Tenacity.
4. Multitasking.
5. Organization.
6. Ability to present information in a clear and concise way.
7. Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel
Flexible hours, between 15-40 hours a week.
