DEMO DAY!!! Very exciting day for Science Park - years in planning with many stakeholders and community members involved. Grateful to the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development Office of Brownfields for their shared vision and grant funding to make this demolition a reality. Finally, 300,000 square feet of abandoned and contaminated factory buildings, which have been a blight on the Dixwell/Newhallville neighborhood, will be removed to make space for future housing or bioscience space.
