We remember so clearly that day…it was a beautiful day, just like today.
Where we were. What we were doing. The disbelief as we watched the unimaginable unfold. And the silence that seemed to follow as we realized our world had changed forever.
Twenty-five years later, we remember our community members we lost, the nearly 3,000 other lives lost, the families who never had the chance to say goodbye, and the extraordinary courage of the first responders and everyday heroes who ran toward danger to help others.
We also remember what came after — the countless acts of kindness, compassion, and courage. People reaching out to help, comfort, and care for one another in the midst of unimaginable loss.
Today, all of us at Metro Star pause to honor those we lost, those who survived, those who answered the call, and the families who carry their memories every day.❤️
