Congratulations Officer Hubbard! Thank you for being an incredible officer in your dedication to serving and protecting our community!!

It is with great pleasure that I can announce that Officer Jacob Hubbard of the Bradford Police Department is being awarded the 2025 McDonald’s Community Policing Award. The McDonald’s Community Policing Award is a recognition presented to officers who have made outstanding contributions to their communities.

Officer Hubbard was hired by the Town of Bradford in 2022. Since then, he has displayed admirable involvement in the community. He is currently the D.A.R.E. Officer at KRES Bradford, he attends events at the Brown Memorial Library and KRES Bradford to read books to the youth, he attended a multi-day environmental camp at Camp Coniston with his D.A.R.E. students, he participates annually in the Bradford Parks & Recreation Polar Plunge, he is often found at the local sports field engaging with youth athletes and fans, as well as many other events in the area.

Officer Hubbard goes above and beyond in building trust and fostering strong relationships between law enforcement and the Bradford community and we are very appreciative of his selflessness, compassion, and continued efforts to make our community a brighter place.

The presentation of the McDonald’s Community Policing Award will take place on Tuesday, October 21st from 4:00pm till 7:00pm at McDonald’s in Warner, NH. All are welcome to attend to show support to Officer Hubbard as well as McDonald's for their support of law enforcement in the State of New Hampshire.

Governor Kelly Ayotte has issued a proclamation instituting a statewide burn ban, effective immediately and in place until further notice due to ongoing dry conditions.

This order suspends ALL fire permits, including those for seasonal fire pits. No outdoor fires of any kind are permitted.

If you observe any signs of an outdoor fire, please call 911 immediately. A swift response is critical to containing potential fires and protecting both property and natural resources.
