As a Maryland native and home grown in Montgomery County, community and family have always been first and foremost for Josephine Cicolini. She grew up in home of entrepreneurs whose main focus and interest was always in real estate. With that insights and inspiration, she branched out to follow one of her personal passions as a chef and started her own catering business. Her clients loved working

with her, witnessing her passion love for her craft of cooking (She's Greek & Italian)...OF COURSE she wanted to feed and take care of the world!), providing wonderful experiences for her clients and delivering first class customer service. After marrying her husband Christopher, now of 15 years, her family began to grow and Josephine made the difficult decision to close her catering business and focused her attention and energy to taking care of her family and raising her children. Over the past 10 years, she also has volunteered her time, money, and heart to philanthropic interests, such as The Salvation Army of F.R.I.E.N.D.S, a Down Syndrome Advocacy Group based in Frederick County, Maryland. F.R.I.E.N.D.S is not only important to Josephine because it is her community, but is at the heart of her campaign to raise awareness of Down Syndrome since the birth of her daughter Gaby. Most recently, she has worked with the Humane Societies of Frederick and participated in profound missionary work in developing countries with her church, FCF. In her spare time, she continued to maintain and manager her existing properties, consult on staging residential homes for sale and worked on several rehab projects. It was during this time, Josephine made the decision to obtain her license and transition to a full time career in real estate. As a lifelong Maryland resident, Josephine delivers an innate understanding of the broader housing market of the region and community. Her enthusiasm and passion for helping others provides her clients with a great experience in any real estate transaction. You know you're a Realtor when your office changes locations 17 times a day and lunch is wherever you happen to be between appointments. 😂

Today's executive boardroom meeting is being held in the Taco Bell drive-thru. Fancy, I know. 🚙

Behind every "Just Sold" and "Congratulations!" post is a Realtor who's eaten more meals in their car than they'd probably like to admit. Between showings, inspections, client calls, and contracts, sometimes you grab lunch wherever you can!

No complaints here though. I wouldn't trade helping my clients for anything especially a mexican pizza. 😆

Take a moment to reflect and think of the things you're most grateful for 💙🦋

Life moves fast. Between work, family, responsibilities, and everything else on our plates, it's easy to focus on what's next instead of appreciating what's already here ✨

Today, I'm feeling especially grateful for my family. For my children who give my life so much purpose and joy 💙 For Gaby, who continues to inspire me every single day with her kindness, determination, and beautiful heart 🦋 For the moments spent with my dad, my "Real Estate Advisor," whose wisdom and support have shaped so much of who I am today ❤️

I'm grateful for friendships that feel like family, for the opportunity to serve my community, for the clients who trust me during some of life's biggest moments, and for all the little things that often go unnoticed... a good cup of coffee, a beautiful sunrise, a laugh with someone you love, or a quiet moment of peace ☕🌅

Every challenge you've faced, every obstacle you've overcome, every difficult season you've survived has prepared you for whatever comes next. The fact that you're still here, still trying, still moving forward says more about your strength than you may realize.

As someone who lives, works, and raises a family in Frederick County, I pay close attention to issues that could have a lasting impact on our community 💙🏡🦋

The article I'm sharing today discusses the rapid growth of proposed and planned data centers in our area. While much of the public conversation has focused on increased power demand, it also raises questions about other potential impacts, including water usage, stormwater management, noise, air quality, and proximity to residential neighborhoods and schools.

Whether you're strongly in favor of these projects, strongly opposed, or simply trying to learn more, I think it's important that we stay informed and have productive conversations about how growth will shape the future of Frederick County.
