Seasons

I strongly believe that you go through seasons..

In business..in your personal life..friendships..

Personal seasons and economic seasons..

Some people are afraid of change… change of a season..I embrace it..

It’s like that first hint of fall weather after you have been baking in the 100+ temps in the summer heat..

Some seasons come early, some come late, some last longer, but they never change their pattern. They’re predictable. And if you can predict them, you can take advantage of them.

The only thing college gave me was stupid student loan debt. ❌❌

I learned everything I know from the school of self - education and experience. 💪

Doing the work..hands on is the most powerful way of learning there is. 💯💯

And I 100% believe that is why I am where I am today.

It’s how I took a small loan and turned it into a $15MM real estate portfolio.

Entrepreneurship can’t be taught in a formal classroom.

It’s all about experience and learning from the experienced.

You didn’t come this far, to only come this far.

It doesn’t matter if you’re having a bad week…. Or a bad year.

You don’t quit.

Remember why you started.

Remember that rock bottom you were at in the beginning?

Remember the goals you set for yourself?

If you quit now, you’re doubling, tripling the time it will take you to be who you want to be.

Success is a long game of consistency.

Keep putting in the work, no matter what.

Never forget why you started.

Break the cycle.

This isn’t just about me wanting to make a bunch of money and have nice things. 🤷‍♂️

Although you won’t see me complaining about the Aston Martin… 😁

Anyways, when I was growing up my dad worked himself to death. He had the same w2 job his entire life and put his literal blood, sweat, and tears into it.

And he made just enough to pay the bills, support his family, and hope that his 401k would be enough to retire. 😓

But in order to break the cycle, you have to break the rules. 🚀

My dad did what he was “supposed” to do. But I refuse to follow the same rules.

I’m creating a legacy of wealth for my kids and many generations to come.

I’m proving to my kids that they don’t have to slave away at a job for 40+ hours just to barely make ends meet and survive.

They get to literally live their best life.

You’ve got a responsibility to do your best.

Are you learning INTENTIONALLY?

Here’s my thought process for learning with intention …

1. What’s the next thing I need to know to level up my skills/business?
2. Who is a thought leader/expert in this specific space?
3. Who can teach me what I need to know the fastest…

It might be a book, a course or a one-on-one coaching session…

I’m always advocating for throwing sh** against the wall until it sticks, and just getting started …

But if you can find a learning resource that cuts a 5 year learning curve in just 2 hours of reading/listening… why wouldn’t you?

That’s a no brainer.
