We hope to see you this afternoon at the AIA New Orleans Preservation in Practice Town Hall event! Jason will be answering questions on all things preservation along with Kristin Gisleson Palmer of Preservation Resource Center, Andrea McCarthy of the Louisiana Division of Historic Preservation (SHPO), and Eleanor Burke, Deputy Director of the Historic District Landmarks Commission. We are looking forward to a great conversation about how preservation and historic tax credit rehabilitations can uplift our communities. See you there!

Happy ! Last week, we had the opportunity to attend a lecture from Brent Hull hosted by at the beautiful historic Hermann-Grima House . The lecture centered around Hull’s recently published book, The Design and Manufacturing of Historic Millwork From 1740-1950. We enjoyed the discussion on classical systems and proportions as well as the evolution of millwork and manufacturing. We even got to share our precious office copy of Universal Design Book No. 25 with !
