Before practicing real estate, Katie spent 14 years in executive recruiting working for Korn/Ferry International, the largest global executive search firm in a senior position and with Premier Search Advisors, a New Orleans-based executive search firm she founded in 2009. So special to represent my buyers on the purchase of this charming Uptown cottage.

My clients had a very specific vision. After years in a 5,000 square foot home, they were ready to downsize—without leaving the neighborhood they’ve loved for over 30 years.

They were looking for a quintessential New Orleans home in the Golden Rectangle: primary bedroom on the first floor, gated off-street parking, and a yard. A combination that’s increasingly hard to find.

We searched high and low and ultimately found a home with the right foundation—one they can truly make their own. It offers the flexibility to customize, create space for visiting grandchildren, and still maintain a turnkey feel that allows them to lock up and head to the mountains in the warmer months. And...it had the primary bedroom on the first floor, the gated off-street parking and a yard.
