✨Oh my JOY!! I was walking Audubon Park and what do I hear? An owl. Y'all, owls and deer are my FAVORITES. As you hear the hoot, may your soul be filled with whatever you are searching, seeking or putting out into the universe. May it be so. And then the most beautiful sunset to prepare the path for tonight's full moon. I have a dear friend having surgery tomorrow, another love who has found out she needs an additional surgery; another whose appliance combusted yesterday and had a fire; thank goodness she was home. A treasured friend whose son suffered a severe femur fracture, ending his football career. And, clients making big decisions. Being in nature, standing under the mighty oaks, hearing the owl, I feel peace.Peace, peace, peace, be still. You are loved✨❤️

❤️❄️ Can you foster a sweetheart for a few of the upcoming coldest days? I know we want to adopt them all but we CAN foster and warm their hearts and ours, too. Thank you so much for considering🤩🐶🐾🦮🐕‍🦺🐩 The Louisiana SPCA (where we adopted our fur baby🤗)

Temporary foster homes needed!

We currently have over 250 animals in our care and New Orleans is expecting some uncharacteristic winter weather in the coming week. Caring for animals during extreme weather events brings added challenges to the shelter, so we're reaching out to the community and asking for your support. Not only does fostering the animals give them a break from shelter life, it gives you a snuggle buddy during this Arctic blast (and potential snow!).

If you can help, please stop by our Orleans or Plaquemines Campus anytime today to see who you can take home and our teams will assist you! All supplies the animal will need will be given to you, so there's no cost to you besides opening your home and heart to an animal temporarily.

If you can't foster, please consider donating or helping us spread the word. We know the pets in our care would love to be snuggled up with you when the winter weather hits and we would love your support.
