Yesterday, I helped Ms. Mabel Lewis, 90, sell her home.
Today would have been her 48th anniversary there.

She’s now off to Texas to live with her son.
She wanted to sell fast.

We Know How to Celebrate Food in New Orleans

I often say I moved here for LOVE. I met Stephanie online in the summer of 2001 and that's "all she wrote!" I was caught, "hook, line and sinker!"

She Closed the Book on 7th Grade!

Today, we’re celebrating Ashton and all she’s accomplished. It wasn’t the easiest year, there were many challenges, frustrations, and moments that tested her... tested all of us, but she showed up, stayed the course, and finished strong. And that’s what I’m most proud of.

Summer break couldn’t come fast enough, but the lessons she’s learned this year go far beyond the classroom. She’s learned resilience, grace under pressure, and the strength to keep moving forward even when things get tough. Lessons so valuable as a 12-year old, don't you agree?

As a dad, I’ve felt every moment with her. Through the highs and the lows, I cried tears of pride and joy just listening to her reflect on what she’s been through. And somehow, even in those moments, she’d smile and say, “Don’t cry, Dad,” like she was the one encouraging me.

We love you, Ashton. You did it, and you did it well.

It’s a reminder that growth doesn’t always come easy. However, with dedicationut, perseverance, and the support of those who love you, the next chapter is always worth turning the page for.

Seize Your Opportunity in a Tough Real Estate Market

Jeffrey, a young first-time home buyer, was eager to stop paying rent and start building equity in his own home. He had a clear vision of what he wanted - a home in LaPlace, close to his work and family, with low cash-out-pocket and a monthly payment within his budget. However, the homes within his price range were either in undesirable areas or required extensive updates and improvements.

The problem escalated when Jeffrey discovered that even the homes with interior updates had neglected systems and mechanicals. Issues with old A/C units, plumbing, and electrical systems threatened to strain his budget, making the dream of owning a home seem increasingly out of reach.

Jeffrey's uncle, Don, introduced us. Don was referred to me by a past client, and we worked together on the sale of his house. He was highly confident that I could help Jeffrey navigate the complex real estate market while staying focused on what really mattered to him.
