Ben Derbes, CCIM of Max J. Derbes, Inc. represented a local investor in the purchase of a two tenant Investment Property in a prime retail location in Slidell, LA. The property was net leased to two quality national tenants on long term leases. A strong stabilized rate of return was achieved and a successful 1031 tax deferred exchange was completed in the sale.

Derbes, Inc. – Realtors of New Orleans successfully completed a multi-acre land sale in Tangipahoa Parish to facilitate the expansion and relocation of Medline Industries to the Greater Hammond Area. The sale involved the assemblage of multiple sites in Hammond and Tangipahoa Parish to provide Medline Industries the needed property for the development. Medline Industries, with facilities in both St. Tammany Parish and Tangipahoa Parish, plans to construct a $45 Million state-of-the-art medical supply distribution facility and will become one of Tangipahoa Parish’s largest employers.
