I’m truly honored to have received a Proclamation from Westchester County Legislator Tyrae Walker Tyrae Woodson-Samuels and the Westchester County Board of Legislators recognizing my leadership and the role I play in advancing democracy and housing in our communities.
It’s always a special feeling when the work you do is seen and recognized—especially the work that happens behind the scenes through service, volunteering, advocacy, and our commitment to the real estate industry and the communities we serve.
While my name may be on this proclamation , leadership is never a solo effort. So much of what I’m able to accomplish is because of the incredible people who work alongside me, support the vision, show up, and put in the work. I’m grateful for Natl Assoc of Real Estate Brokers , my leadership team Realtist Alliance of Westchester County , our local board members, and everyone who continues to help move our mission forward. This recognition belongs to all of us!
I don’t do this work for the recognition, but moments like this are a beautiful reminder that the time, energy, and effort we pour into our communities truly matter.
And to have August 19, 2026 officially declared “Erika King Day”—that one is still sinking in! 🥹💙
