The Louisiana Fortify Homes Program offers up to $10,000 in grant funding to upgrade your roof to hurricane-resistant standards, plus huge discounts on your homeowners insurance premium when it’s done.

⏰ The 2026 lottery window is open NOW, but it closes June 19 at 5 p.m.

To be eligible you’ll need:
🏡 A primary residence with a homestead exemption
📋 Active wind coverage on your home
📍 A home in one of the 25 eligible parishes (Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany, Lafourche, Terrebonne, Livingston, and more)

👉 Create your profile and register at ldi.la.gov/fortifyhomes before the deadline. Don’t sleep on this one!
