Wallpaper installations from two different projects. Almost every client of mine has requested wallpaper somewhere in their home. There is so much to choose from, but I always gravitate towards classic designs that bring some vintage charm as well as longevity to the design as a whole.

Planning yet another phase of our renovation of ! This time, the laundry room (last pic, from when we moved in) will become the primary closet and bathroom (layout on 3rd slide). The inspiration is for a glam and fun space — something that feels like a jewel box! Many elements of the design have already changed (check my stories and Reno Phase 3 highlight), but that’s the upside of designing for myself and letting each step inspire the next

When tile samples arrive…. 🥰 This is what I live for. Dramatic, but really brings me so much joy. I’ve had my eye on that mosaic tile for literally years and had a sample stashed away too, so when our primary bath reno came up, I knew this tile was gonna make an appearance. It also has pink and maroon pieces, so I’m gonna keep ordering samples til I hit the jackpot 🎰 The other samples are all possible companion tiles.

The passage of time definitely takes on another flavor with a baby and counting months etc. Anyway, Nico turned one year old a couple of weeks ago! And celebrated some friends’ birthdays too!

Hi! Mirell here. I changed my name to .manse and wanted to catch y’all up! I’ve recently forayed into interior design work. This has been marinating for years and has slowly come into fruition over the last few months. I finally listened to my ♥️, and many people who have suggested this path to me, and I am boldly moving forward. That means you can hire me for any and all interior design conundrums. No job too small! From furniture sourcing, color selection, art curation, and full on layout/floor plan alterations for a renovation. And rest assured, is alive and well! I’ll still be doing real estate as well, although in a slightly different capacity. and I are working side-by-side with all of our clients!

I really enjoyed all my mom-themed conversations with y’all last week! I made a story highlight of my own experience so far and I’ll try to add to it as time goes on and brings new challenges and joys.

Never done, but I think I can call this an “after.” What I used to call the ‘front parlor’ has become a legit library and one of our most used and enjoyed rooms. It looked alright as “before,” but as always with renovations, it looked worse (to bring plumbing upstairs) before it started looking better. Bookshelves really gave this room purpose. We hurriedly moved in without painting or organizing, and it has basically taken this whole Covid-year for this room to come together. Definitely the most fun space in the house!
