There are homes… and then there are homes with a soul ♥️ and this Hudson Valley estate is truly the latter.

I couldn’t be more proud and genuinely overjoyed for my incredibly talented client as she steps into her very first home, an extraordinary early 1800s estate set on 14.7 acres of history, privacy, and quiet beauty.

Once home to Jody Wolcott Carson, Johnny Carson’s first wife, this property has been lovingly held and preserved through generations. Every inch tells a story, the iconic red barn standing against the landscape, the peaceful pond reflecting the seasons, and the breathtaking music studio with its cathedral ceilings, spiral staircase, and arched window that feels almost like stepping into a painting.

Warm fireplaces, a charming tavern room, a screened porch made for slow mornings, and grounds that feel more like a private retreat than a property, this is a place where life is meant to be lived deeply.

What made this journey even more meaningful is the person who now calls it home. From day one, she trusted me completely, and that trust is something I will always be grateful for. She works tirelessly for everything she has built, and watching her step into this milestone was nothing short of inspiring.

Closing day was unforgettable, we sat at the table together listening to the amazing seller share 50 years of memories poured into every corner of this home. The story of him hand-building the front steps from stone taken from his childhood home is one I’ll never forget, and I know it will live on in this next chapter too.

Now, a new story begins.

One rooted in legacy, love, and new memories waiting to be made.

She isn’t just moving into a house, she’s becoming part of its history while writing her own.

I am so honored our paths crossed, so grateful for your trust, and beyond excited for everything ahead for you. Welcome to the Hudson Valley 🤍

This is why I love what I do.

Five years ago, I took a leap of faith into real estate not knowing exactly where it would lead just knowing I wanted to build something meaningful.

Today, I’m filled with so much gratitude I can’t even put it all into words. To my clients, thank you for trusting me with one of the biggest moments of your lives. Over the years, so many of you have become more than clients… you’ve become like family. I’m so grateful for the relationships, the memories, and the connections that have grown far beyond real estate.

To my team thank you for always pushing me to be better, supporting me through every season, and standing beside me every step of the way.

To my family, especially my fiancé and my children…you are my everything. My strength, my support, and my “why” in all of this. None of this would be possible without you.

This journey hasn’t always been easy, but I’m so grateful I never gave up. Every step, every challenge, every lesson has been worth it.

Here’s to 5 years of growth, gratitude, and so much more ahead 🤍🏡
And of course… a 5-year anniversary called for new headshots 😉

We were in the middle of an inspection, just another part of the process for my buyers when something unexpected happened.

The inspector stopped, looked directly at my clients, and said,
“I have to tell you… you have a really great agent.”

He went on to say he’s worked with all kinds of agents over the years, some great, some not so great. But what stood out to him wasn’t just knowledge or experience… it was how I showed up.

He said he could see how much I genuinely care. That I wasn’t just there to “get through” the inspection, I was in it with my clients. Paying attention to every detail. Asking the questions that matter. Making sure nothing slipped through the cracks. Making sure they were protected.

And that moment stuck with me.

Because the truth is; I don’t do this for the commission. I do this because I care deeply about the people who trust me to guide them through one of the biggest decisions of their lives.

I will never stay quiet just to keep a deal together.
I will never overlook something that could impact my clients down the line.
I will always ask the questions as if I were buying the home myself.

My clients will always come first. Every time.

Because how you show up for people in these moments matters more than any paycheck ever will. And the relationships built through honesty, trust, and protection…that’s what this business should be about.

🧅 Hudson Valley Fun Fact 🦣

Did you know the area around Pine Island in Orange County is known as the “Heart of the Black Dirt Region”?

Thousands of years ago during the Ice Age, glaciers melted and formed a massive lake called Glacial Lake Wallkill. Over time, plants grew, died, and settled at the bottom of the lake. When the water eventually drained, it left behind incredibly rich black soil ….some of the most fertile farmland in the country!!

That’s why the Black Dirt Region became famous for growing onions and vegetables. Farmers often say the soil is so rich you could drop a stick in the ground and it would grow.

But here’s the wild part…
When farmers dig in those fields, they sometimes uncover mastodon bones! Huge elephant-like animals that lived here more than 10,000 years ago!

One of the most famous discoveries was a mastodon skeleton nicknamed “Sugar,” which was found near Sugar Loaf and is now on display at SUNY Orange.

So the next time you drive through Pine Island, remember …beneath those onion fields is the ancient bottom of a glacial lake… and the history of Ice Age giants. How awesome!

Looking at our team photo this year, I couldn’t help but pause and really take it in. Every year the group gets bigger, but so does my gratitude. I’m surrounded by some of the most incredible humans, people who show up, support each other, and pour their hearts into everything they do.

In this industry, it’s rare to find a team that truly feels like family. A group of people who genuinely celebrate each other’s wins, offer a hand when things get tough, and push one another to grow. I feel so fortunate to not only have witnessed that, but to live it every single day.

This team has impacted my career in more ways than I can count. They’ve helped me grow, encouraged me to step into my potential, and supported me through every high and low that comes with this business. I wouldn’t be the agent I am today without them , and that’s something I will always be grateful for.

To my work family…thank you for being my people. I’m grateful for you! Today and always. 🤍🌿
