Notice from the Tuscarawas County Map Office:
2015 Property Transfer Preapproval Deadline
Friday December 18, 2015 at 4:30 PM.
The last day that property ownership transfers can be recorded this year in Tuscarawas County is Thursday December 31, 2013. If property needs to transfer in 2015, preapprovals need to be submitted to the Tuscarawas County Tax map Office no later than Tuesday December 18, 2015 at 4:30 PM. This will insure that the Map Office staff will have adequate time to determine if the transfer meets the County's conveyance standards. This deadline insures that your preapproval will be processed by the Map Office staff and can be transferred on or before December 31, 2015, but only if it meets the Tuscarawas County conveyance standards. Preapprovals submitted after the December 18, 2015 deadline will be processed as quickly as possible, but there is no guarantee that they will be able to be transferred in 2015.
