3 years ago I moved some furniture into an office space a few miles from my home. Artisan Real Estate, Inc. “AREI” was born. My own full-service brokerage — taking all that I had learned as a sales manager, and top producing Realtor, for some of the biggest real estate firms, and a few boutique brokerages (35 years licensed), gleaning the best practices and systems from each experience and turning it into my own company.

AREI professionally markets properties, works with both sellers and buyers, and offers property management services (long term and Snowbird Key Service). I have several agents underneath my Broker umbrella AND I also have a referral company, Left Coast Referral Network, where agents can park their license in ACTIVE status for free and refer business to AREI, and beyond, and make some side-hustle income.

I had plans to start a pre-license and post-license school, with a coaching platform, and obtained my Florida instructors license in 2024, but that has been put on hold until the economy gets better. FYI - now is not a time to be a new agent entering the market. The challenges are hard for us experienced agents, let alone somebody trying to build a business from scratch.

So this is a momentous day for me - an anniversary of sorts. I’m proud to be a woman small business owner and now that I’ve hit the 3 year mark it’s smooth sailing! (Right? 😂😉)

A shout out to a new small business in New Port Richey — The Skinny Bean. I found my way there yesterday afternoon and ordered a Salted Bee Latte large drink that was simply decadent and fabulous! She’s pretty much a one-man shop with a few part-time employees and I believe her food options are getting ready reviews so I will be going back for maybe a breakfast burrito earlier in the day. She’s just off 19 on Main Street, northside in the Palm District.
