Friday afternoon at the Atlantic Plaza was the perfect time for our Florida-Style Low Country Boil. Our "Family" got to enjoy boiled shrimp (cooked separately), smoked sausage, potatoes, carrots, onions, corn on the cob and Texas-style garlic toast. Dessert was a combo of strawberries, brownies and a decadent chocolate dip. The weather was perfect on this day.😋🍓🥔🥕🧅🍤🐖

Weather here in NSB has warmed up quite a bit. So last night we had "Dough on the Deck". A good size group enjoyed one of NSB's best pizza company's fare of 6 different kinds of pizza. That would be Stavros, of course! Staff prepared plenty of fresh Caesar Salad to provide a balanced meal. Dessert was our Atlantic Plaza specialty...fried dough. Most cultures have some form of this...but we make it with fried dough showered in granulated sugar and served hot. Nothing quite like it...and it must be good for you since it is ALL vegetarian!!!

Thursday's weather started out cloudy and a little chilly. But just before 4 PM the sun came out from behind the clouds and provided our "Family" with perfect temp and light. After the apps, many continued their afternoon with a walk down to Flagler Avenue to do the "Flagler Crawl". If you have never done the "Crawl"...stay with us...we are only 2 blocks south of Flagler.

Well...it finally has happened. Someone has brought the cold weather down with them. Last night it was 23 degrees here in NSB with pretty strong winds. This morning it has quickly warmed up to 38 degrees at Noon. Great weather for polar bears!

Latest beach re-nourishment info in front of the Atlantic Plaza. The crews are now working down passed Clancy Parking Lot to 3rd Avenue beach access. They are allowing more vehicle parking out in front of the pipe. They have built a walkover in front of the County beach walkway next to the Atlantic Plaza.

Another beach condition update...first, it is amazing to watch the crews working on the beach renourishment project. They are working 24 hours a day to get this project completed. Our guests now have access to the oceanfront by going over the man-made sand bridge and over the dredge pipe.

Yep...the beach renourishment project scheduled to start a year ago started this January in NSB and is now approached our beachfront.

What a great group of our Atlantic Plaza family we have here now. Being that the weather here has been up and down...we made reservations at one of our local ITALIAN restaurants last night. Over twenty attended for garlic knots and meals at Cafe Vesuvio's. Their staff treated us like family and the food was EXCELLENT!
