As you gather with family and neighbors this Independence Day, please park with emergency access in mind. Vehicles lining both sides of the street can make it difficult for fire engines and ambulances to get through when seconds count.
Before you park, make sure there’s enough room for responders and keep hydrants, intersections, and driveways clear. A little extra space can go a long way in helping us to get to you or emergency. Stay safe out there and watch out for each other.
