Maintenance Technician

We are hiring for an experienced Maintenance Technician for Multi-Family Communities in Westmoreland County, PA. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall appearance and maintenance of the apartment community. Candidate must have maintenance knowledge to include basic carpentry, interior/exterior maintenance, appliance repairs, electric, plumbing, HVAC repairs, etc.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Respond and complete resident service requests in a timely manner
Resolve and provide preventative maintenance and repairs on A/C, electrical, plumbing, and appliances
Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status
Complete work orders in a timely manner
Must be able to multitask and prioritize
Must be available for after-hour emergency calls when needed
Preferred Skills:

Electrical
Plumbing
Drywall
Painting
Framing
Carpentry
Requirements:

Must have a least five (5) years of apartment maintenance experience
Must have strong plumbing, electrical, drywall and painting skills
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Must have the HVAC experience and EPA Certification
Must have excellent people skills
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Valid Driver’s License required
Reliable transportation required
Job Type: Full-time
