Recently rented a commercial lot close to home in New Stanton. Bought a shipping container to store tires and tvs. I then got a call from borough telling me I cannot have a shipping container. 🙄 uhhh why not ? Well apparently they said they have a rule and by asking questions they got angry and short with me not up for discussion. Ok I have found at least 20 containers in New Stanton the borough manager told me not one person ever paid a permit fee and no long term container are allowed. In my investigation I found the borough purchased a container for New Stanton park nearly 20 years ago. I have also found a shipping container at a borough council members building and he has been on council for years. What am I to do just let borough push me around ? Any opinions on shipping containers ??
