Some hunts are about the deer. Others are about the memories you make along the way.

When Mack — aka Butch — told his dad he wanted to go deer hunting, Glen wasn’t sure what to expect. At just 4 years old, there was plenty of practice to be done first. After weeks of shooting practice, countless targets, and more than a few balloons, Butch proved he was ready.

Saturday night, with several deer in the field, Butch looked at his dad and said, “Daddy, I want to shoot that one.”

He stayed calm, took his time, and made a perfect shot.

His first deer. His first harvest. And a moment neither of them will forget.

Glen has had a lot of memorable hunts over the years, but watching his son take his first deer will be hard to top.
