Wellen Park in Venice/North Port south of Sarasota was ranked the top 6 master-planned community in the US in 2025. There’s a reason so many people are now talking about Wellen Park. Walkable downtown. New energy. Live music. Restaurants. Trails.
And beaches like Venice, Manasota Key, and Englewood just a short drive away. Benderson Development in the Wellen Park area aquired 52 acres for commercial redevelopment. That will bring restaurants, stores and way more to do. I believe the redevelopment will likely be a net positive for Wellen Park.
