Lynda Deppe, Founder and President of Site Realty Partners, has been fulfilling clients' dreams and desires (and occasionally resolving family disputes!) for nearly two decades. There, as Principal Partner and Managing Director, Lynda developed and curated collections for major global corporations, entertained prospective clients in the company's elegant 7,000 square-foot exhibition space and along the way, amassed a database of thousands of international names, from 15 years serving those who value quality. Now she was armed with prospects and a growing passion for stylish sites. Following three years under the umbrella of two esteemed Gotham real estate firms, she was ready to step out on her own, fully acquainted with Manhattan properties from bridge to bridge, north to south (not to mention air space!). Lynda has spearheaded new development projects in the Upper West Side, Tribeca and SoHo, leased numerous restaurant/retail spaces and sold multi-million-dollar condominiums and premier properties throughout the city. Her quest and commitment never tire. Her creative concepts have appeared in The New York Times Interiors, The Real Deal, The Mann Report, Crain's Business Daily, The Collector Investor, and Corporate Art News. In addition, she has organized major charitable fundraisers, conducted art auctions and spoken before The American Council for the Arts, Young President's Organization and New York International Association of Business Communicators. Fluency in Spanish is part of her repertoire. If you start home shopping before getting pre-approved, you could get a nasty surprise when you apply for a mortgage and discover you qualify for much less. Furthermore if you’re in a competitive housing market, you should do all you can to stand out in a sea of borrowers. Getting pre-approved is one way to do this, because it shows how serious you are about buying. Sellers will be more likely to accept an offer when you’re pre-approved, because it means there will be fewer issues finalizing the mortgage. The last thing an anxious homeowner wants is a hold-up because their buyer has a spotty employment history.

Hem, a modern furniture design company, designed its own headquarters at the centre of Stockholm, with interiors by the furniture brand's in-house design team and Atelier Paul Vaugoyeau. A focal point of the HQ is a three-metre-long edition of Hem's Puffy Brick counter that's covered in amorphous, acid-yellow blocks. London-based art and design studio Soft Baroque produced the counter by injecting balloons with concrete and then arranging them in a mould. Drop a like if you love these finishes as much as I do!
