One final thought on the Real Brokerage / RE/MAX news.

Sometimes major industry headlines simply confirm what many agents and brokers have already been sensing.

Change is happening.

And often the most important question isn’t:

“What does this mean for the industry?”

It’s:

What might this mean for me?

For agents who have quietly wondered whether there may be a better model for their business…

This may be a good time to explore.

No hard pitch.

No pressure.

Just a conversation.

I’ve spent enough years in this business (20!) to know there is rarely one right model for everyone.

But there is value in asking whether your current one is still serving where you want to go.

If that question has been on your mind, I’m happy to share why I made the move I did.

Theme: What This Signals for Agents
Yesterday I shared thoughts on the Real Brokerage / RE/MAX news as an industry signal.

Today I’m thinking about what it may signal specifically for agents.

For years, many agents have quietly wrestled with the same questions:

Is there a better model?
Can I keep more of what I earn?
Can I build with stronger tools and less overhead?
Can I be part of a platform that feels aligned with where the industry is headed?
Those questions are no longer fringe.

They’re becoming central.

To me, this merger reflects a broader trend:

Agents want more than a place to hang a license.

They want:
✔ technology that actually helps
✔ community and collaboration
✔ economics that make sense
✔ a model built for where the business is going

That conversation is only going to grow.

And that’s a good thing.

Because when agents have better models…

clients tend to get better service too.

A number of people have asked what this could mean specifically for agents. I’ll share more thoughts tomorrow.

Big news in real estate today.

The Real Brokerage is acquiring RE/MAX in a deal that signals something much bigger than a headline.

It signals where the industry is going.

As someone who has spent over two decades in real estate—including working within traditional brokerage structures, building a high-producing business, and now aligning with a modern agent-first model—I’ve seen firsthand how much the model matters.

It matters for agents.

And it matters for clients.

Because when agents have better tools, stronger support, and more alignment with the economics of their business, clients benefit too.

That’s one of the reasons I joined The Real Brokerage.

I believed in a model built around innovation, collaboration, and giving agents more opportunity to build sustainable businesses.

This announcement only reinforces that conviction.

What I find compelling is not simply the scale of combining an iconic global brand with a technology-enabled platform…
