I didn’t want to make 2 dinners but the kids wanted Mac and cheese (again 🙄). I made a Mac and cheese, coney bowl. I added a hot dog, coney sauce, onions and mustard. It was pretty good, easy, filling and CHEAP. I hope to teach these kids some resourcefulness

Accidentally figured out how to make that beautiful diner style pancake
Sorry if wrong sub but I’m really excited. I’ve spent my whole life unable to make that uniformly colored pancake like diners etc. Tried a whole bunch of stuff over the years that never worked. Accidentally did it tonight after forgetting to add oil/butter etc. to the pan because I was cooking hashbrowns, eggs and sausage and I’m really bad at multitasking. Please excuse that little folded corner. It’s not my instinct to photograph my food so this was the one and only pic I took lol. For the record, this was not a fluke. I made another 12 pancakes that looked exactly like this!

Edit: TLDR; the hack is add your batter straight to your pan/skillet whatever. No oil, butter, sprays etc. Also keep the heat low, as in 2-3 on an electric stove

Pickled bums my late grandmother made 30 years ago
My entire family is a bit weird but we obviously inherited it from previous generations. This jar is one of the only remaining mementos I have from my grandma. I still remember her in her rocker, cutting up old nylons and stuffing them with cotton, sewing them up into these little disembodied bums. To this day, when I hear the term "bum fights" I remember my sister and I, as little kids, digging into grandma's bum jar and whipping them at each other.

I was trying to make an Omelette and bagel.
It's 4 eggs, half a white onion, half a Red Onion, a quarter a block of Cheese, some mixed vegetables, a big mushroom and put into a blender out of curiosity. I then burnt the bagels.
