If you live in &/or own a home in NC, voice your opposition. The NC Insurance Rate Bureau (which represents insurance companies doing business in or state) has requested a 42.2% increase for 2024 for HOMEOWNERS insurance. That’s an average. They’re requesting a 99.4% increase in some beach areas.
