There are pending NYS bills S2783 & A4871 that "Prohibits landlords, lessors, sub-lessors and grantors from demanding brokers' fees from a tenant" and could be passed this week!

This means that brokers might not get paid for the work they do and/or or landlords & property owners would be responsible for these fees.

Tell your legislators that you oppose these bills by visiting:

https://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/bills/2023/s2783 and documenting your opposition.
