Need to Know • Food for Thought

What's my favorite thing about living in New York City...the food. Restaurants are the lifeblood of our city. Many restaurants have pivoted to take out, and outdoor dining was a god sent but now its cold and snowy and indoor dining is only at 25% capacity.

We need a plan... Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said Sunday that city restaurants and their employees need immediate relief from the federal government. He's hoping to provide that relief as soon as Congress heads back to Washington to hash out a new aid package.

Schumer highlighted plans for his restaurant relief fund, which is modeled after the bipartisan supported Restaurants Act, providing flexible grants as a lifeline for New York restaurants.

Schumer said the grants can be used to pay employees, insurance or even for personal protective equipment. Those eligible for the grant include food service or drinking establishments, including caterers, brewpubs, taprooms and tasting rooms that are not part of an affiliated group with more than 20 locations.

I will absolutely be monitoring the restaurant relief fund and will keep you updated on the progress. NYC is rebounding. My team and I are here to answer any questions! Contact us anytime for more information!

208 E 28th St, Unit 5A •  $$645,000

Flexible coop board, immediate subletting, investor friendly permitted... Attention to detail in this charming pre-war building sets this beautifully renovated and spacious Kips Bay one bedroom apartment from the rest!

As you enter into the gracious foyer, you are greeted by the original dual-toned hardwood floors, coupled with curved archways, distinct crown moldings and baseboards. This sun-flooded unit gets lovely Southern exposure, allowing natural light to wash over the entire apartment. Each oversized window comes with marble sills. There are also ceiling fans in every room!

The tree lined bedroom accommodates a king bed, all of your furniture. The equally peaceful view from the living room completes this perfect home.

The privacy of a virtual doorman building, combined with the European styled courtyard, makes living here a true escape from the hustle of the city streets. An app-based virtual doorman system allows you to view visitors and buzz them in from anywhere in the world! The brand new app-based laundry facilities are located conveniently in the basement, right next to the storage room, which has available storage space rentals. A flexible coop board and immediate subletting makes this investor friendly property all the more appealing.

The lobby was renovated to reflect the 1940 era from when the building was built. There is a spacious package room off the lobby for your convenience. There is also a very quaint courtyard in the backyard that is incredibly quiet and peaceful.
