The Ideal Candidate will work with Management and Marketing Department to design, program, launch, maintain and upgrade company websites. Provide help desk support to staff and clients using proprietary company web application, reports to IT Department, Project Managers and Executive Management. Must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take lead on new innovations and projects.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for development, Implementation and maintenance of the organization's website. Monitors web traffic, oversees the development of web content, and maintains web server.
- Ensures that the site meets the business needs of the organization.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks Leads and directs the work of others.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Prior experience with website development & optimization; linux & open source apps; mysql, php database, java script, ajax, ext.js, drupal, codeigniter, asterisk.
- Available 40 hrs/week, but must overlap 8 am to 5 pm EST, on call for emergencies.
- With high speed internet connectivity, reliable power source and computer system.
