It was an honor to represent the Corwin family in the sale of their home back in 2020. Listening to Betty Corwin speak about working with Neutra was a highlight of my career. One of the many stories she shared with me was that she originally wanted the primary bedroom to be on the same side of the house as the children’s rooms. Neutra looked at her and told her that she should be on the opposite side of the house, and that they could have an intercom system so that they could communicate - at a distance. Smart he was, not only from a privacy aspect but the primary ended up being sited with beautiful views of the Saugatuck River. The home was in original condition, lovingly maintained, complete with the St. Charles kitchen. One of only three Neutra homes in the state of Connecticut. We were able to place this home in the hands of buyers who revered the architecture and went on to complete a museum-quality restoration. Truly one of my favorite engagements.

Rankings are rewarding for sure, but you know what’s more rewarding!? Helping people navigate their way through one of the largest financial moments in their lives. 🏡

New job. New spouse. Growing family. Dream home. Aging parents. Retirement. Divorce. Upsizing. Downsizing. Investing. These are just some of the moments where we step in to advise our clients. My last closing of 2025 is a profoundly special one. I have known my client for well over a decade, and she has become not only a VIP client but a friend. I’ve watched her life evolve over the years and this is the second home we have sold together. I deeply appreciate her faith in me and her loyalty to me. As she closes her Connecticut chapter and returns to Manhattan, I am full of gratitude. Helping people move through the stages of their lives is one thing I love most about this career.
