Looking for a cozy escape this season? Here are three perfect spots just a few hours from the city:

– a charming and affordable bed & breakfast in the Berkshires, ideal for a peaceful retreat. Explore nearby trails, enjoy local art and culture, or simply relax by the fire after a day in the snow.

– a grand lakeside resort with stunning views. Watch the sunrise over the Adirondacks, go ice-skating, sleigh riding, or visit in January for the annual Glacier Ice Bar where 50,000 pounds of ice are sculpted into bars, chairs, tables, and even glassware!

– a historic Victorian castle resort surrounded by nature. Winter activities include snowshoeing, cross‑country skiing, and cozy evenings by the fireplace.

Each destination offers its own mix of adventure and relaxation for a quick winter getaway. Because whether it’s finding the perfect weekend escape, or the perfect home in NYC, having the right guide makes all the difference. 🔑

Sotheby’s Icons: Back to Madison inaugurates our new global headquarters at the Breuer Building on Madison Avenue. This exhibition brings forward some of the most extraordinary works ever handled by Sotheby’s.

Among the highlights for me are Andy Warhol’s Orange Shot Marilyn (1964), Banksy’s Girl Without Balloon (2018), Frida Kahlo’s Autorretrato con chango y loro (1942), Gustav Klimt’s Dame mit Fächer (1917), Georgia O’Keeffe’s Black Petunia and White Morning Glory I (1926), Jean-Michel Basquiat’s Untitled (1982).

Thank you for the lovely tour, !

Free and open to the public, ending Monday 🖼️
