📞 Answer the phone. Seriously.

Why do real estate agents not answer their phones?

I just heard a story about someone shopping for a $2 million home who called three agents over a holiday weekend… and not one called him back.

Not one.

That is wild to me.

In real estate, speed matters. Communication matters. Follow-up matters.

Because sometimes the difference between winning the client and losing the opportunity is as simple as picking up the phone or calling back.

If you’re buying or selling, make sure you’re working with someone who actually shows up for you.

🏡 Quirky Things I Find in Houses… tile transition edition 😅

Some people have a serious pet peeve when the floors don’t match throughout a house.

And honestly? I get it.

You can either:
👉 Redo all the floors
or
👉 Work with what you’ve got

But if you’re going to transition from wood to tile, this is actually a pretty creative way to do it 👀

A little quirky? Yes.
Do I kind of like it? Also yes 😂

Sometimes the unusual details are the ones that make a house memorable.

🏡 Quirky Things I Find in Houses… closet edition 😅

I need suggestions for this one.

Once you put a closet rod in here, that part makes sense… but then there’s this super skinny side section and I’m honestly not sure what it’s supposed to be.

It’s too narrow for shoes.
Too awkward for normal storage.
But maybe… kind of useful? 🤔

I don’t know—it’s quirky, and now I need ideas.

Today’s find: a little bonus room off the kitchen.

At first glance? Pretty great!
✨ Extra storage
🪴 Room for plants
🌿 Double doors to the backyard
🪟 A cute bay window
📦 Shelving for all the things

It’s kind of like an enclosed porch… but not quite.

Here’s the catch:
❌ No A/C
❌ No screens
❌ No real airflow

And this is Central Florida… so when it gets hot, this room might feel like living inside a dog’s mouth 😂

Quirky? Definitely.
Useful? Maybe!
Fixable? Probably.
